(concentrate on technique, but not at the cost of reduced mileage)

April 25 week - taper
Taper week for those swimming on Sunday

May 2 week - endurance emphasis week
May 3, Flip-turn Clinic – Mary, Tue PM

May 9 week - endurance emphasis week
Over-distance: 5/10 Tue PM

May 16 Week – Mixed stroke Week
Over-distance: 2/15 Mon PM
Sprint: 2/17 Wed PM

May 23 Week – high yardage week
Over-distance: 5/23 Mon PM
May 28, Great Hudson River Swim (1.6 M)

May 30 Week – Freestyle (stroke work) Week
Over-distance: 5/31 Tues AM
June 2, Freestyle Clinic – Dario, Thurs PM

June 6 Week, emphasis on open water/triathlon techniques
(drafting and head-up drills, for those competing in triathlons)
Over-distance: 6/8 Tue AM
Sprint: 6/8 Tue PM

June 13 Week – time trials
Sprint: 6/15 Wed PM
June 18th,Time trials, Sat AM (100 free & 100 IM)
June 18, Manhattan Island Swim (28.5 M)

June 20 Week – easier week for those doing Liberty Island swim
Sprint: 6/21 Tue PM
June 24, Liberty Island Swim (1.2 K)

June 28 Week – emphasis on open water/triathlon techniques
Over-distance: 6/30, Thurs AM
